Home Climbs The Glen The Glen: from Camps Bay to Kloof Nek Cycling up The Glen means serious climbing in central Cape Town. It takes you from Camps Bay / Clifton to Kloof Nek, on the flanks of Lion's Head. Cycling The Glen Between Camps Bay and Clifton, take Lower Kloof Road then turn right on Kloof Road towards Table Mountain and follow this road to the top. With an average slope of 7%, with longer stretches around 10%, The Glen is quite steep. Not done with climbing yet? From the top you can take a left to Signal Hill Road to cycle up Signal Hill. Or go left on Kloof Nek Road and take the first right to cycle up Table Mountain as far as there's tar road.
